Yoga for Runners

As I go back to running, I am mindful of the risk of increasing stiffness in the muscles, particularly the hamstrings.  I do not want to lose whatever flexibility I have gained from my daily practice for the past year.

Let me share Esther’s videos for runners.  With my 3x a week running routine, I intend to warm up and cool down with yoga.  And of course,  insert in a short yoga practice in between.

And while I still have energy, I’ll throw in a monkey pose just to make sure I still progress towards this pose and not lose the flexibility I have gained so far:
